In Memoriam – Mark Nicholas Johnson

Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church at the age of 49 after a battle with pancreatic cancer, Mark passed from this world on November 19, 2020, and is now resting in eternity with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Beloved Fiancé of Anne Falgoust Ott, dear Father of Mitchell S. Johnson and Aidan M. Johnson, dear Son of David S. Johnson Jr., and Mary Anne Johnson (nee Worstell), dear Brother of D. Sheldon Johnson (Sarah Neher), Jeffrey M. P. Johnson (Jennifer May) and Daniel J. Johnson (Teresa Scuzzo), and dear Uncle to Lauren Johnson, Nicholas Johnson, Meg Johnson Ilges (Daniel Ilges), Andrew Johnson (Katie), Matthew Johnson (Caitie), Rosie Johnson and Ellie Johnson.

A native St. Louisan, graduate of St. Louis University High School in 1989, Mark attended Rhodes College in Memphis where he played football and graduated with a B.A. in English in 1993.  Mark had a successful 25-year career in commercial real estate as the Chief Operating Officer of Johnson Group working closely with his father and brothers and was a talented guitarist playing with various bands in St. Louis.  Mark was a friend and servant to many, always willing to sacrifice for family and friends and a beautiful example of living with humility, forgiveness, and love.  All of Mark’s family thanks God for the gift of Mark.
